Seeing as our unique experiment with the winter school in Leh worked so well, we began thinking of how to improve their accommodations. We are currently building a hostel on a piece of land which was bestowed to the monks at Rangdum, who were happy to earmark it for our students.

In 2011 we broke ground. In 2012, the last rooms were finished and the first students moved in. In 2013, 40 young Rangdum students arrived for their Winter School session. Now, in 2014, the building has need of more accommodation space and new bathrooms!

The project requires the construction of another 8 rooms and the completion of a second bathroom (and possibly a third).
