Lessons begin at 9 am and end at 4 pm. Students bring their lunches with them from home, but often the lunches are gone by mid-morning.

Thanks to the generosity of Laura Manaresi, in the summer of 2011 the stoves of our brand new dining hall were fired up for the first time. 60 students and their teachers now there every day free of charge. The meals, which consist of rice, barley, vegetables, eggs, and meatballs, are prepared by two cooks hired from the village–another benefit to an area where so few job opportunities exist.
